Apuret Morris
Registered Comprehensive Nurse

BIO
My name is Apuret Morris. I am from Aturia village. I am married to a beautiful lady called Alice and so far God has blessed us with a daughter, named Nissi, born August 13, 2009. During my adolescent life, I became sick which caused impaired hearing. However, I studied in primary and secondary school and completed studies in 2004 as a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. I was inspired to join medicine by my grandfather, whom I am named after.
In my career, I am interested in maternal/child health care, and Teso Safemotherhood Project is an avenue to serve, share, learn, and better my professional profile.

I started TSMP in September 2009 on the medical side helping Dr. Eriamu assess, diagnose, and treat our patients.
I love working with TSMP and am grateful to all the staff, and above all our dear donors of IMA who have made TSMP what it is!

Akol Sarah
Nursing Assistant
Dispensary

BIO
My name is Akol Sarah. I am 21 years old. I was born in a village called Obuloe/ Ocomai in Asuret sub-county, Soroti district. I went for my primary in Obule,  and I studied secondary at Bethany Girls.

When I was at school, I used to tell my parents and friends that I wanted to be a nurse so that I can help people. They thought it was just for fun, but I meant it. So I struggled hard to complete my secondary schooling.  Afterwards I went for my courses as a nursing assistant in DAF college and I finished this in 2009. I heard of the services being offered by Teso Safe Motherhood.  I appreciated the work they do for  the people and this piqued my interest of joining them since I liked what they offer to the patients.

I like creating friendship, being social to the patients and kind.
I pray God may give the donors more strength and continue funding TSMP. Long live TSMP.
